Summary
Holds primary responsibility for the safe and efficient use of equipment & chemicals at the location. Dusts, wipes, vacuums, disinfects washrooms, applies product & polishes and is also responsible for adhering to all internal procedures of the company. Provides clear and prompt communication as required by the company.
Qualifications
Must have technical knowledge of the industry and experience in handling various janitorial light duty tasks. Must possess the ability to react quickly.
Duties
- High dusting
- Vacuuming
- Dusting /wiping
- Safe Handling of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Cleaning and wiping of mirrors, glass and chrome fixtures
- Polishing
- Disposal of Garbage.
- Washroom cleaning
- Light mopping and sweeping
- General janitorial duties
Physical Demands
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, fingers, handle, or feel, reach with hands & arms, and hear. Occasionally required to kneel, bend or stoop, may also lift or move up to 12Kgs. Must be able to climb a three step ladder.
Work Environment
Noise level is moderate, Personal Protective equipment must be worn when using cleaning chemicals. Non WHIMS products available.
